Central Carolina Community College is seeking a highly qualified Sociology Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and contributing to their academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Sociology courses, incorporating discipline-specific learning outcomes through active learning opportunities, lectures, and hands-on skill development.
• Provide authentic student assessment, allowing students to improve their knowledge and skills with each assignment.
• Foster student success by establishing meaningful connections with students early in the semester.
• Participate in activities required to maintain program and/or college accreditation standards.
• Engage in professional development activities to keep current in your discipline.

• Master's Degree in Sociology or master's degree with 18 hours of graduate-level coursework in the course subject area.
• Previous seated and/or online teaching experience is preferred.
