Janitorial Lead

We are seeking a skilled Janitorial Lead to direct and delegate the workload of janitorial staff at our Oakwood Mall location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the work of janitorial staff members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Perform quality assurance checks to guarantee that all cleaning work meets our high standards.
• Liaise with customer representatives to ensure exceptional service is provided.
• Manage emergency situations by responding promptly to calls from security or mall management.
• Oversee the organization of janitor closets and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Schedule table, chair, stage, and retail merchandising unit set-ups as required.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to address any deficiencies in facilities or equipment.
• Conduct training sessions on safety protocols and mentor janitorial team members.
• Assist with payroll duties as needed.
• Maintain productivity records and make recommendations to leadership for improvement.
• Participate in the selection process for new janitorial team members.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
• Occasionally assist with janitorial duties to supplement staff during peak periods.
