Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Specialist to join our team at Carter Lumber. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle. Your primary focus will be on ensuring daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. If deliveries slow down, you will have the opportunity to assist in the Yard to ensure you reach your weekly hours goal.

• Transport orders to customers in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure daily delivery schedules are met
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Assist in the Yard as needed to meet weekly hours goal

• Previous delivery experience with cabinets, windows, and doors
• An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or class D license)
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• A friendly, customer-service-driven personality
