Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, you will conduct medically prescribed physical therapy interventions, utilizing techniques and skills tailored to the patient's needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
  • Performs therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
  • Documents treatment interventions given.
  • May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support personnel.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • No experience required.
Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced home health care environment, traveling to patients' residences to provide care. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and use your hearing and speech to communicate with patients and colleagues.
