Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Process prescriptions and maintain accurate records
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on pharmacy procedures and regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy Technician certification or registration required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a retail or pharmacy environment
  • PTCB certification
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software
