Role Summary:
The LVN will work under the supervision of the Program/Clinic Manager and the clinical leadership of a Registered Nurse (RN). This position is essential in providing direct nursing care to our patients, focusing on their health and overall well-being.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process and manage medication orders in compliance with clinic protocols.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the medical team.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care and treatments to patients within the clinic setting.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked supply of clinic materials.
- Actively participate in the interdisciplinary team by contributing nursing perspectives during care planning and problem-solving sessions.
- Educate and support patients, their families, and geriatric aides regarding nursing care and related topics.
- Assist with additional tasks to enhance patient care as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited LVN training program.
- Current LVN licensure in California.
- Demonstrated experience and interest in caring for elderly or frail populations, with a minimum of one year in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Bilingual capabilities may be advantageous for specific roles.
