About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Expert to join our People & Organization Practice at Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advisory, knowledge assets, and advanced analysis to support our clients' talent and skills needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with case and proposal teams to develop and implement strategic workforce plans, leveraging your expertise in talent management, strategic workforce planning, and job and skill taxonomy.
  • Drive the development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support the Talent & Skills business, including tools, topic materials, and data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with business leaders to drive proposals and go-to-market efforts, ensuring the successful commercialization of our knowledge assets.
  • Line manage a team of junior colleagues, providing goal setting, ongoing feedback, and career development support.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of consulting experience in top-tier strategy consulting firms, with a focus on talent and HR topics.
  • Alternatively, 10-12+ years of industry experience in similar focus areas, with demonstrated leadership roles and responsibility for delivering output and impact.
  • Track record of collaborative team management, with strong leadership and coaching skills, and experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Deep expertise in end-to-end talent lifecycle, with a specific focus on talent management, strategic workforce planning, job and skill taxonomy, and people analytics.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholders.

Boston Consulting Group's Knowledge Team is a group of functional and/or industry experts who leverage deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. We are affiliated with BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda, and building and deploying leading-edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.

What We Offer
  • Total compensation includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market-leading benefits package.
  • Competitive pay is commensurate with the role and geography.
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-25%.
  • 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service.
