Dental Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Familia Dental. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and escort patients in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary equipment and supplies, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Take and record patient medical and dental histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Document all dental procedures performed during each patient visit, adhering to legal requirements and dentist instructions.
- Assist dentists during procedures, providing support and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Provide dental education and information to patients, promoting good oral hygiene and health.
- Notify the Office Manager of any equipment issues or safety concerns.
- Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews, and regular office meetings to stay informed and aligned with team goals.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction and comfort.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with dental management software, preferably Denticon.
- Ability to work in a patient-focused environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Detail-oriented and able to carry out written and verbal instructions.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Meet state requirements for DA duties, continuing education, or license; Basic Life Support (BLS), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate, and radiography certificate.

We offer full-time and part-time employment opportunities, with varying schedules to accommodate your needs. Full-time positions require 4+ days a week, 30-40 hours per week, with availability to work Saturdays as needed. Part-time positions require 2+ days a week, 29 hours or less per week, with flexibility to work multiple half-day shifts or fewer full-day shifts.
