Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Technician IV to join our team in Louisville, KY. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting automated material handling systems and building equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the primary responder for all complex system issues involving automated material handling sortation and controls
  • Assist with infrastructure upgrades and modifications/repairs to DC assets
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system components of automated material handling systems and building components
  • Work in teams to resolve problems and propose unique solutions
  • Perform audits and quality checks on Powered Industrial Equipment, automated material handling systems, and building assets
  • Provide diagnosis analyses on different building equipment, MHE, and PIE
  • Troubleshoot and report on material handling system performance
Requirements
  • Technical degree, Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of building and equipment maintenance experience with two years maintaining automated material handling systems
  • Complete technical training in electronic controls, power distribution, and PLC troubleshooting
  • Experienced using electrical test equipment, hand tools, power tools, calipers, gauges
  • Experienced with reading and interpreting MEP drawings and schematics
  • High level of understanding of codes such as the NEC, BOCA, and UBC, MSDS, and OSHA
  • Technical skills to become subject matter expert for automated material handling systems
