As a Nurse Residency Program Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our Nurse Residency Program, which is designed to provide new graduate nurses with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their careers.

About the Role

The Nurse Residency Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Nurse Residency Program, including scheduling, orientation, and evaluation of residents. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs and materials to support the residents' learning and development.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the Nurse Residency Program, including scheduling, orientation, and evaluation of residents
  • Develop and implement educational programs and materials to support the residents' learning and development
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure a seamless transition for residents
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to residents throughout their residency program
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Nurse Residency Program and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of a school of nursing
  • Must have less than one (1) year of experience
  • Must be graduating in the next year or have graduated within the past year
  • Current Florida RN license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association
