About the Role

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join our team. As a leading pediatric healthcare system, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children of all ages
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide supervision, teaching, and training to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in child clinical psychology/pediatric psychology
  • Completion of an internship in an APA/CPA-accredited child psychology/pediatric psychology program
  • Eligibility for licensure in Ohio
  • Completion of a formal two-year Pediatric Neuropsychology Post-doctoral Fellowship (APPCN preferred)
  • Experience with medical populations preferred
