We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Agency for Health Care Administration. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of healthcare services across the state of Florida.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of healthcare facilities to ensure compliance with state licensure and federal certification requirements.
  • Document findings and complete written reports of survey results.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of survey responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Utilize computer equipment and software to enter, retrieve, and manipulate data required to perform licensure and certification functions.
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464.
  • Two years of licensed professional nursing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in science/nursing from an accredited four-year college (preferred).
