Job Description

Keffer Hyundai in Matthews, North Carolina is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Billing Clerk to join their Accounting & Finance department. This full-time role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for all automotive sales and services. The primary responsibility of the Automotive Billing Clerk is to accurately record and process all financial transactions related to the sales and service departments, while adhering to company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and a working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Bill all New and Used car deals and post into Accounting
  • Organize all paperwork in each deal; check for completeness (signatures, verify VIN, etc.)
  • Process incoming/outgoing Dealer Trades in DealerTrack DMS & process Payoff checks for Trade-ins and mail to appropriate financial institution in a timely manner.
  • Generate and maintain the Salesperson's commission reports
  • Maintains Inventory Schedule & We-Owe Schedule
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in accounting or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or billing role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
