Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant Health. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders to support their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals to support students' communication needs.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote effective communication.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom setting, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • IEP Support: Participate in IEP meetings and assist in goal setting and progress tracking, ensuring that students' communication needs are met and supported.
  • Professional Development: Offer resources and training to parents and teachers to support students' communication needs both at home and in school, promoting a collaborative and supportive community.
Qualifications
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Valid Washington state SLP license.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
