We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to improve health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Direct patient flow and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Obtain vital signs and patient information, and report to clinicians or RNs.
- Administer medication, perform patient tests, and instruct patients on procedural preparations under supervision.
- Notify pharmacies of new prescriptions and authorizations.
- Collect, label, and transport specimens to appropriate destinations.
- Maintain exam/treatment areas and medical equipment.
- Log medical procedures and inventory supplies.
- Perform telephone screening and additional duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington State Practical Nursing license.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross).
- 1+ years of experience working as an LVN/LPN.
- I.V. therapy and phlebotomy certification.
- 3+ years of experience working as an LVN/LPN.
