DiVal Safety Equipment, a prominent player in the industrial safety, fire, and EMS distribution sector, is seeking a dedicated individual with a proactive mindset. This role is pivotal in managing daily warehouse functions, empowering team members, and fostering a safe and positive work atmosphere. The Warehouse Supervisor will report directly to the Corporate Satellite Warehouse Manager, ensuring that all team members embody DiVal's core values.

Key Responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Prioritizing safety at all times, ensuring a secure work environment through weekly safety training, enforcing equipment policies, addressing unsafe conditions, and providing necessary documentation and training.
  • Ensuring all incoming Purchase Orders are received and stored within a 24-hour timeframe.
  • Conducting daily maintenance of the warehouse, adhering to the F.A.C.T.S. protocol (Face product, Align product, Clean/Cut, Tag, Sweep).
  • Maintaining required certifications for the safe transportation of hazardous materials, in compliance with D.O.T. regulations.
  • Facilitating ongoing communication with the direct manager, customers, vendors, and other DiVal personnel.
  • Assisting in the investigation of any issues affecting warehouse credibility, addressing concerns with urgency.
  • Collaborating with management and HR to meet personnel needs, including recruitment, training, and development.
  • Performing additional warehouse duties as assigned by the direct manager, including daily opening and closing tasks.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to evaluate personnel and processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address customer complaints and production challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred, along with advanced computer skills.
  • Experience with RF training and formal warehouse equipment training, including forklift, order picker, reach truck, and scissors lift, is a plus.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
