Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience and possess certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification, and state-specific licensing when required.

About the Job

As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms, preparing patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, operating and ensuring the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab, scrubbing in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters, obtaining and recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data, monitoring the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures, and participating in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification
  • State-specific licensing when required
