BIM/VDC Engineer

Holder Construction is a leading construction industry company with operations throughout the United States. We are seeking highly motivated construction professionals to join our BIM/VDC Team in Moncks Corner, SC.

• Facilitate problem-solving using technology and collaboration with project teams.
• Coordinate workload with VDC Managers for one or more projects.
• Manage modeling efforts and deliverables to solve construction issues.
• Understand and contribute to the VDC coordination schedule by tracking individual responsibilities and providing progress updates.
• Identify and facilitate resolution of coordination conflicts using clash detection in Navisworks.
• Lead clash resolution and coordination meetings, ensuring all items are completed.
• Use modeling best practices and company standards to produce accurate models.
• Conduct quality reviews of modeled scope from others and confirm compliance with contract documents.
• Apply concepts from training sessions and lessons learned to facilitate project coordination.
• Understand and implement VDC services in accordance with our standards and best practices.

• 0-4 years of BIM/VDC experience working on commercial construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Computer Graphics, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Willingness to relocate and travel.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools.
• Understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Knowledge of the construction management process (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings).
