Job Title: Radiologic Technologist I

Join Boston Medical Center, a leading healthcare institution, as a Radiologic Technologist I. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional and equitable care to our patients.

About the Role:

As a Radiologic Technologist I, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray imaging, to assist our providers in accurately diagnosing and treating patients. You will work collaboratively with our Radiology Team to ensure the highest quality of care and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional and equitable care to all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray imaging, to assist providers in accurately diagnosing and treating patients.
  • Collaborate with the Radiology Team to ensure the highest quality of care and contribute to our mission.
  • Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their safety, comfort, and modesty at all times.
  • Monitor each patient's condition during exams, taking appropriate action when assistance is needed.
  • Document exams properly in Radiology Information System and PACS to ensure all details and required information are included.
Requirements:
  • Current or the ability to obtain one of the following licensure/certifications: Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT Certification and Registration, or Temporary Massachusetts Rad Tech License.
  • Current BLS/CPR Certification, or the ability to obtain one prior to start date.
  • Completion of two years post-high school training in an approved school of radiologic technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of Radiologic Technology work experience in a hospital preferred.
  • Maintain all Continuing Education Units.
  • Excellent communication skills and initiative.
