  • Check with guests periodically to ensure satisfaction and provide exceptional service.
  • Ability to up-sell and increase check averages.
  • Ensure cleanliness of side station and maintain supplies.
  • Bus tables as next course becomes available.
  • Transport dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
  • Abide by hotel and sanitation guidelines.
  • Knowledge of hotel programs and promotions.
Requirements:
  • High intensity and stressful environment, particularly during cover counts.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Standing for 90% of work shift is required.
  • Activities include standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, handling, lifting, carrying, seeing, hearing, talking, and walking.
  • Knowledge and identity of food items.
  • Able to anticipate guest's needs.
  • Efficiency and attention to detail, maintaining a keen sense of urgency at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Self-directed, motivated, and exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to access and input information into Micros system.
  • Ability to exert physical effort in transporting trays and wine buckets from service area to guest.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Food Handler's Certificate required.
  • Minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.
