Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Truman Medical Centers. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services department.
Responsibilities:
* Provide direct patient care to surgical patients with acute, chronic, and/or terminal illnesses
* Perform assessments based on the patient's surgery, medical condition, and care needs
* Utilize the nursing process to plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate the delivery of nursing care in the OR department
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
* Participate in departmental committees and program evaluations
Requirements:
* Graduation from an accredited nursing program
* Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse or eligible for Missouri RN licensure
* Current BCLS card
* Radiologic certification or training (if applicable)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
* RN Specialty Certification
