We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm System Specialist to join our team at Jobot. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Ensure fire alarm systems are installed, inspected, and maintained in accordance with NFPA 72 and other relevant fire alarm codes.
  • System Inspection and Troubleshooting: Perform routine checks and inspections to ensure all systems are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
  • Repair and Replacement: Troubleshoot and repair faults in fire alarm systems, including wiring and other electrical components.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance on fire alarm systems to staff and management.
  • Record Keeping: Keep up-to-date records of all inspections, installations, and maintenance activities.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician, preferably in the manufacturing industry, is required. A recognized qualification in Nicet, Commercial, Electrical, Inspecting, Installing, Maintaining, NFPA 72, Fire Alarm Codes, or a related field is also essential.

Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Fire Alarm Systems: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of fire alarm systems, including their installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical staff.

This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The estimated annual salary for this position is $94,800 - $126,000 based on a 40-hour workweek and an hourly rate of $45-$60.
