Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $25.00 per hour, with an average weekly pay of $1000.

In addition to competitive pay, we offer a range of benefits, including:

  • A certification bonus of up to $700 for new ASE certifications
  • A quarterly bonus of up to $500 every quarter
  • A sign-on bonus of $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days
  • An annual merit pay increase every year
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team as a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician.

As a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including routine preventative maintenance, component inspections and repairs, and preventive maintenance.

You will also diagnose standard mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable, and identify root cause of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required.

In addition, you will interact with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task, utilize key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available, and work in accordance with all federal/provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT).

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Basic tools, required
  • Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
