Quality Engineer Role at Trane Technologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the site's quality management system, including NCMS, CAR/SCAR, Deviation, calibration, and Internal Auditing processes.
  • Influence business results by delivering and reporting quality data, focusing on metrics and actions to track operational performance.
  • Minimize Quality-related risks through creation and maintenance of PFMEA, Control Plan, and Quality ABC's.
  • Benchmark business processes against best-in-class and drive implementation of best practices throughout the organization.
  • Participate in New Product Development, measured by participation in DFMEA development, and leading the PFMEA, Control Plan processes and PPAP process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in quality or quality engineering in a manufacturing environment with lean concepts, QMS manufacturing practices, and progressive customer relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of various quality system methodologies, such as Lean, 5 Why's, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFEMA, PPAP, and APQP.
  • ASQ Certification for Certified Quality Engineer and/or Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.
