We are seeking an experienced Dock Equipment Specialist to join our team at Wolter, Inc. in Louisville, KY. As a Dock & Door Tech, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customers' facilities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills, with the ability to work independently in a field service environment. You must also possess strong customer orientation, good communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

In this role, you will conduct on-site inspections, maintenance, and repairs of dock and door equipment, as well as troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electrical issues to determine the cause of equipment malfunction. You will also update and maintain customer bearings and mechanical gearbox systems, consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues, and discuss recommendations to improve their material handling needs.

Additionally, you will attend service training classes to maintain knowledge on new products and refreshers on products not encountered often. You must complete and submit all paperwork daily for jobs worked on, including time cards and maintenance reports with customers' signatures.

This is a full-time position that requires a valid driver's license and good driving record. You must also be certified to operate material handling equipment and commit to company vision and mission.
