**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by processing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Clean, inspect, process, assemble, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to established policies and procedures.

2. Maintain accurate and legible documentation of instrument processing and sterilization activities.

3. Assist with daily and weekly testing and logging of mechanical equipment, including washers, sonic, and sterilizers.

4. Participate in department activities, including orientation, system education, quality, and daily briefing.

**Requirements**

Experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years experience in the field and certification by CBSPD or IAHCSMM preferred.

**Compensation**

$14.78 - $20.33 /hour
