Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at H&H, a trusted full-service infrastructure engineering firm with over 137 years of experience.

As a member of our Passenger Rail & Transit Group, you will contribute to the growth and capabilities of our team, working on intricate and innovative engineering solutions for bridge structures and rail projects nationwide and globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire life cycle of a project, from study and planning to design and construction, ensuring efficient handling of assignments of all sizes, types, and delivery methods.
  • Assist in preparing bridge design documents, including AutoCAD and MicroStation plans, quantities, and design calculations, and prepare bridge design documents, including AutoCAD & MicroStation plans and quantities and design calculations.
  • Complete structural calculations utilizing commercial software and specifications, and occasionally perform bridge inspection and load ratings on local agency structures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required; Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
  • Five to ten years of relevant experience specific to bridge structures or rail, with fluency in CAD and MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in cooperative team environments.
