Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Foreside Management. As a leading real estate management firm in Maine, we manage a diverse portfolio of properties and require a reliable and experienced professional to maintain our facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general maintenance, carpentry, and other skilled trades. They will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and improvements to our properties. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs to properties, including carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical work.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and on schedule.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our residents and staff.
  • Identify and diagnose maintenance issues, and notify management when a licensed professional is required.
  • Load and unload building materials and tools.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Complete work orders online and follow instructions.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in repairs and maintenance preferred.
  • Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical.
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • A sense of pride in your work.
  • Ability to communicate well with people.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Physical requirements include frequent need to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Part of the on-call rotation.
  • Must have own tools.
