Position Overview:
PHI Air Medical (operating under CAMTS guidelines)
Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operations
Captain H145 IFR/NVG (Instrument rating required)
24-hour operational readiness (day/night rotation)
Relocation assistance available, with a minimum service commitment required if utilized.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in community outreach initiatives and comply with PHI Air Medical protocols.
- Assist in the safe loading and unloading of patients and medical equipment.
- Promote and support the Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and courteous service.

Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary and benefits package, including shift bonuses, Annual Safety Bonus, and Annual Employee Bonus, among others.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Qualified on the VE7A certificate
- Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings (ATP required within 12 months of employment)
- First Class Medical certification
- CAMTS Requirements: 2,000 Total Flight Hours, 1,500 Helicopter Hours, 1,000 PIC Helicopter Hours, 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours, 100 Unaided Night Operations Hours or 50 Unaided and 100 NVG Hours, 100 Instrument Hours (Actual & Hood)
- Helicopter candidates must meet a weight requirement of 250 pounds for single and twin-engine helicopters.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Successful interview and acceptance by PHI management
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical examination, including functional capacity assessment, drug screening, and background check.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Work Schedule and Location:
7/7 schedule with potential adjustments as needed.
Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the base.
