Faculty Position in Computational Pathology Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an exceptional faculty member to join our Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. As a leading institution in cancer research and treatment, we are committed to advancing the field of digital and computational pathology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a research program focused on image analysis, machine learning, and computer vision in digital pathology.
- Collaborate with our computational oncology, clinical bioinformatics, medical physics, and radiology informatics teams to drive translational research in precision pathology and cancer care.
- Design and execute research projects to develop novel computational methods for pathology, with a focus on precision medicine and cancer treatment.
- Teach and mentor graduate students, postdoctoral students, and fellows in the areas of computational pathology and machine learning.
- Represent the pathology faculty perspective in institutional initiatives related to digital, computational, and AI technologies.
- PhD or MD degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, biology, or medicine.
- Expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and image analysis, with a strong background in digital pathology.
- Proven track record of conducting independent research and obtaining competitive grant funding.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
