Physical Therapy Supervisor

About the Role:
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapy Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for supervising staff therapists, therapist assistants, and support personnel. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and record patient care data, adhering to regulatory agencies and third-party payer guidelines.
- Prepare for evaluations, including obtaining patient history, researching unfamiliar diagnoses, and administering tests and measures.
- Establish treatment plans based on evaluation results, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and their support systems.
- Ensure clinical staff competence through orientation, supervision, and ongoing education.
- Provide functional training, musculoskeletal interventions, neurological interventions, and other specialized therapies as needed.
- Participate in departmental initiatives, projects, and quality improvement activities.
- Adhere to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapy education program or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability and interest in supervision and management.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
- Physical Therapist License.
