Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in enterprise website development to enhance our digital platforms.

Role Summary

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analyses and documenting business requirements and system impacts to ensure the effective execution of web initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to assess existing processes, systems, and potential improvements, capturing requirements for new processes, systems, user interfaces, and user experiences through various techniques such as requirements gathering sessions, interviews, surveys, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners and internal teams to articulate needs and requirements, identifying suitable solutions.
  • Provide guidance on industry best practices.
  • Document current and future states in various formats, including functional requirements, user stories, wireframes, interface designs, workflows, and presentations tailored for diverse audiences, including executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Work closely with IT Development (both onshore and offshore) and Quality Assurance to ensure thorough system testing is conducted.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven experience in documenting web-based systems and conducting analysis and design using various methodologies, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and mock-ups/wireframes.
  • Experience in visually modeling requirements.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in documenting requirements for integrations between enterprise systems.
  • Strong background in business process design and workflow analysis.
  • Solid understanding and application of IT Standards, Policies, and Procedures.
  • Knowledge of Information Security Practices.
  • Familiarity with Project Management Methodologies & Tools.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Understanding of best practices in Digital User Interface design and User Experience.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing Industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in developing Marketing, Sales, and E-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Jira is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite and Lucid Charts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Sitecore and Salesforce is an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business (with IT focus), or related fields, along with relevant work experience in the areas outlined above.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis and design, with a proven track record of successful medium to large-scale project implementations, preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business durable goods, construction, or materials manufacturing.
  • Certification as a Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar credential is a plus.
