POSITION OVERVIEW

Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, meticulous, and well-organized professional to become a part of our team as a Senior Accounting Associate. This role involves providing essential support to the Accounting Department in executing various accounting functions.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution; or at least one year of accounting experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Competence in interpreting technical documents and financial statements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Experience with accounting software is advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Accounting certifications are preferred, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute accounting and bookkeeping tasks for clients in alignment with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Handle various stages of accounting work, including bookkeeping, bill payments, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Support the daily operations of the Accounting Department.
  • Keep precise records of time and expenses to facilitate accurate client billing.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the accounting sector and developments within client industries.
  • Contribute to special projects as required, within the scope of expertise.
