Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and manage low-voltage cabling systems, including CAT 5/6, coaxial, fiber optics, and more.
  • Perform terminations on cables and distribution frames, ensuring optimal connections and signal integrity.
  • Set up support frameworks, such as cable trays and conduits, to facilitate effective cable routing.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within cable infrastructure on commercial or industrial projects efficiently.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members, including fellow technicians, Project Managers, and Superintendents.
  • Engage in rack and stack tasks, closet work, and assembling server racks and patch panels.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in structured cabling and telecommunications installation is advantageous but not mandatory. We welcome candidates of all skill levels.
  • Experience with fiber splicing and termination is beneficial but not essential.
  • Understanding of universal color codes for cable identification and labeling.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as EIA, TIA, BICSI, or NEC is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $30.00+ per hour based on experience.
