Job Description Summary

Job Overview

The Distribution Technician is responsible for efficiently managing the flow of materials within the Distribution Center. This role includes loading, unloading, receiving, storing, moving, picking, packing, and shipping products.

Shift Details

2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:15 AM, Monday - Friday

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $27.55 plus an additional $2.00 shift differential

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Assembly: Efficiently assembles orders for shipment utilizing various tools such as scanners, carts, and forklifts. Maintains precise records of all material movements and transactions.
  • Packaging and Staging: Stages, packages, and prepares products for dispatch. Ensures all packaging materials are adequately stocked to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Loading and Unloading: Responsible for loading and unloading shipments at the docks, ensuring timely processing of inbound and outbound materials.
  • Inventory Management: Conducts regular cycle counts and inventory audits to prevent product loss and maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Compliance and Cleanliness: Adheres to all safety and cleanliness standards, ensuring the workspace is free from debris and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of distribution experience with forklift certification preferred. Computer skills are advantageous.

Preferred Skills:
Basic understanding of arithmetic, English language proficiency, and knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
