Job Summary:

Carle Health is seeking a skilled RN - Float to join our Clinical Resource Unit. As a Float Pool RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients on various inpatient units, including Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Ortho, Cardiovascular Care, Progressive Care, Mental Health, and Acute Rehab.

Responsibilities:

Conduct and document assessments, nursing diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide patient care to various patient populations
Float to various inpatient units to provide direct nursing care
Act as a resource to staff from various units
Coordinate care to facilitate and provide the highest possible quality patient care

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within four (4) years of hire or Associate's Degree and Diploma (Not HS)
Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License Illinois upon hire and Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
Minimum of one year of inpatient nursing experience
