Serves as the lead technologist for the MRI Department, responsible for performing MRI examinations on patients of all ages to assist in diagnosis and support medical staff. Directs department work, oversees staff performance, and serves as a preceptor for new employees. Demonstrates flexibility and assists with scheduling, staffing, and call coverage as needed.

Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of MRI technologist experience required; five years preferred.
  • Graduate of a JCERT-approved radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, or MRI program required.
  • Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy class required.
  • ARRT (R)(MR) registered and American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
