Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will engage with customers and patients both in the pharmacy and clinical settings. Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients and effectively communicating the advantages of utilizing our pharmacy services.
- Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Intern is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) is required.
- An unrestricted IL State Pharmacist License is mandatory, or the willingness to transfer licensure if relocating from another state.
- APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certification is preferred, or the candidate must be willing to obtain certification promptly.
- Certification in Medication Therapy Management Services is preferred.
- Experience in Sterile and Non-Sterile Compounding is advantageous.
- Background in Long-Term Care Pharmacy is a plus.
- Independent Retail Pharmacy experience is beneficial.
- IL State-approved Certification to prescribe Hormonal Contraceptives is a plus.
- IL State-approved Certification to administer Long-Acting Antipsychotic Injections is a plus.
