Seeking a visionary leader to head our Cardiac Imaging and Echocardiography Section at the University of Colorado Hospital. As Section Head, you will oversee a dynamic team of experts in multimodality cardiac imaging, driving innovation and excellence in cardiovascular care.
About the OpportunityThis is an exceptional chance to lead the development of our integrated approach to cardiovascular imaging, training, and research. You will have the opportunity to:
- Oversight of a multimodality cardiac imaging group, including echocardiography, nuclear/PET, CT, and MRI
- Expand access to cardiac imaging modalities in the Denver Metro region and influence cardiac imaging across the Mountain West
- Provide leadership and oversight to fellows in the general cardiology program related to imaging training
- Mature an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship program
- Drive progress in cardiac imaging research, including the development of a new $30M Center for Advanced Image Guidance
The ideal candidate will be a BC/BE cardiologist with advanced imaging training and expertise. The Section Head will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and vision for the Cardiac Imaging and Echocardiography Section
- Fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and quality improvement
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve clinical and research objectives
- Mentoring and supervising staff to ensure excellence in patient care and education

RequirementsTo be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have:
- Level III Certification in Cardiac CT and/or MRI
- Experience in leading teams and developing strategic plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
We are offering a competitive salary range of $300,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
