Job Title: Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at The Middlesex Corporation. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment to construct and maintain infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cranes and other heavy equipment to lift and move materials and equipment
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure safe operation
  • Collaborate with construction crews to plan and execute lifts and other equipment operations
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements:
  • Valid crane operator license for the State of Connecticut
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience with pile driving, steel erection, and bridge construction
  • Hydraulic and friction crane experience
  • OSHA 10 certification
