Job Summary

The Lamination Operator is responsible for the operation of lamination equipment used in the production of printed circuit boards.

This role involves preparing materials, setting up machinery, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the lamination process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate all department equipment, quality checks, preventative maintenance and minor repairs
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and adherence
  • Enter jobs into the manufacturing tracking system
  • Read and interpret shop orders to verify that all previous operations were completed, to verify count and to verify quality
  • Maintain a safe, neat, and organized workplace
  • Document and report any defects or inconsistencies
  • Ensure the quality of the panels are meeting the standard of the work order before proceeding to work to the next department
  • Work closely with other team members in production and quality assurance
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding production issues and needs

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the printed circuit board industry or any similar manufacturing related industry
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Able to work in a team environment and willing to cross train

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand 8-12 hrs.
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
