Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering personalized recommendations to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, including fabrics, notions, and other sewing supplies, to effectively assist customers and make informed recommendations.
  • Sales Floor Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, share knowledge, and provide support to ensure a positive customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Availability: Part-time status requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and Walking: Stand for long periods and walk around the sales floor to assist customers and maintain the store environment.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lift and carry merchandise up to 49 pounds, and group lift up to 97 pounds, as needed.
  • Visual and Auditory Abilities: Read written instructions, reports, and other information on paper and computer screens, and orally communicate with customers and team members.
