Trust and Estate Planning Litigation Associate

Roetzel & Andress is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join our team in trust and estate planning, administration, and litigation. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting trust and estate documents, managing estate and trust administrations, and working on complex disputed estate, trust, and guardianship cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Managing estate and trust administrations, including probate and non-probate proceedings
  • Working on complex disputed estate, trust, and guardianship cases, including litigation and negotiation
  • Providing exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to draft pleadings and attend hearings
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in estate planning and trust administration laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house position in wealth management
  • Experience drafting estate planning documents and managing estate and trust administrations
  • Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to draft pleadings and attend hearings
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with clients and colleagues
  • Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
