We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at CFG Health Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to meet the psychological, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients.
- Utilize effective communication skills to demonstrate respect, concern, and courtesy in all interpersonal relationships.
- Use current knowledge to promote a safe environment for providing healthcare to patients.
- Maintain current professional skills and continue professional growth to enhance the practice of nursing within the program and the image of the organization.
- Adhere to personnel policies to enhance the operation of the healthcare unit.
- Maintain required annual licensure and credentialing requirements for the nursing personnel of the program.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state the facility is located.
- At least one year of RN experience.
- Previous correctional health care environment preferred.
- Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills.
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Assertive, empathetic, and able to provide care objectively.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to work with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Experience in working with Electronic Health Records.
- Ability to pass all required health and other screening tests.
- May be required to work nights, weekend, and holidays.
- On-call duty may be required (available to work on short notice) as per site requirement.
- Provides a positive and professional representation of CFG Health Systems, LLC.
- Keeps patient information confidential and respects patient's right to privacy.
- Promotes culture of safety for patients and employees through proper identification, reporting documentation, and prevention.
- Maintains competency and knowledge of current standards of practice, trends, and developments in related scope of job role or practice.
- Adheres to infection control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
- Participates in ongoing quality improvement activities.
