Job Title: Mold Operator

We are seeking a skilled Mold Operator to join our team at Velcro USA Inc. in Somersworth, NH. As a Mold Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Mold-in Cut to Length production line, ensuring 100% on-time delivery and highest quality as required by our automotive customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the Mold-in line, which laminates various raw materials together and cuts to a specified length.
  • Perform duties by following established written procedures, such as starting up and shutting down and basic maintenance of line components.
  • Carry out all written and/or verbal instructions, as assigned by Supervisor/Lead.
  • Inspect all raw materials prior to processing and mark and cut out defective materials.
  • Feed raw materials into the machine and ensure that it remains flat, no twists or fold-overs.
  • Continuously patrol the Mold-in line during production and check for non-conformance as outlined in documentation.
  • Monitor cutting to ensure consistent lengths of each piece.
Requirements:
  • Two years manufacturing and/or related machine operation experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret written instruction; complete basic paperwork and perform data entry.
  • Ability to maneuver Hook/M97 rolls (up to 35 lbs.) manually throughout the shift.
  • Ability to use a computer and navigate web-based screens, and complete basic data entry into designated fields.
