About the Role

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Swedish, you will play a critical role in aiding physician diagnosis and treatment by performing assays accurately and timely on patient samples. You will maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental, and infectious control standards to ensure compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of automated and manual testing procedures to analyze patient samples.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and patient information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related discipline.
  • National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology certification upon hire.
