Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including the use of computer software and hardware, to process prescriptions and manage inventory.
  • Assist with the training and development of new pharmacy technicians, and participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills and ability to count, measure, and weigh medications accurately.
  • Computer skills, including the ability to operate pharmacy software and hardware.
