Job Description

The Cloud Operations and Engineering team at Rubrik is responsible for reviewing user requirements and guiding stakeholders in their cloud onboarding in all public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure). As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be part of this team and will be responsible for managing and supporting IAM org policies, SSO, and security policies in AWS, Azure, and GCP Gov Clouds used for all federal development and hosting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review new requirements and provision accounts, tenants, or subscriptions in AWS, Azure, and GCP respectively.
  • Setup appropriate tags for these new accounts for finance cost tracking.
  • Manage and support various IAM, access, logging, and security policies on AWS, GCP, and Azure Gov Clouds.
  • Collaborate with the security team to design and deploy various security control services.
  • Support and manage marketplace purchases in public clouds.
  • Coordinate with vendors for new services/licenses procurement.
  • Work with cloud vendors to enable savings plans, commitment purchase/management on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders for ongoing cost optimization opportunities.
  • Support finance and procurement teams on billing and invoices-related queries.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of CloudOps and Engineering experience of cloud fundamental provisioning, IAM, logging in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Azure AAD + IAM modeling, PIM, management groups, enterprise management, application management.
  • GCP IAM, org policies, VPC service controls, assured workloads.
  • AWS IAM + SSO, SCP policies, cloud trail, cloud watch, RAM.
  • Azure tenant, subscription, IAM management.
  • GCP project, billing, IAM management.
  • Automation skills: Python, Terraform.
  • Cost optimization.
  • Collaboration and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of FedRAMP operational controls, past FedRAMP environment experience would be a big plus.
Additional Requirements
  • Due to the criteria and security levels for Rubrik's FedRAMP program, this position will require the following:
  • U.S. citizenship at the time of hire.
  • Residence within the contiguous United States (i.e., the lower 48 states and the District of Columbia).
  • Willingness to undergo a single-source background investigation if required.
Position Risk Designation

  • Know, acknowledge, and follow system-specific security policies and procedures.
  • Protect data and individual privacy per requirements and regulations.
  • Perform ongoing activities in compliance with service and contractual obligations.
  • Participate in role-based training, completing assignments on a timely basis.
  • Report security issues promptly, and aid investigation when needed.
  • Support controlled changes and vulnerability remediation activities.
  • Work collaboratively with Information Security in designing, implementing, assessing or enhancing system-specific security and privacy controls.

  • Position Risk Designation: Non-Sensitive, Low Risk, Tier 1.
  • Incumbents without access to U.S. Government data may be required to complete Standard Form 85 and undergo a Tier 1 Investigation (T1) for non-sensitive positions of Low Risk.
  • Position Risk Designation: Non-Sensitive, Moderate Risk, Tier 2 (Public Trust).
  • Incumbents with access to U.S. Government data may be required to complete Standard Form 85P and undergo Tier 2 (T2) Investigation for non-sensitive positions designated Moderate Risk.
  • Position Risk Designation: Moderate Risk Law Enforcement (CJIS).
  • When hired for a position where access to Moderate Risk criminal justice information is required, the employee must complete a fingerprint-based national criminal history background check within 30 days after the employee's start date.
