Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Burcham Hills is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, shaving, and dressing.
  • Respond promptly to all call lights and requests for assistance from residents.
  • Assist with meal services, including distribution of trays, set up of tray, assistance with eating, and responding to special requests.
  • Properly document all ADL flow records, bowel and bladder function, repositioning sheets, sign out sheets, meal intake, and intake and output sheets.
  • Obtain resident/client vitals and weight upon admission and as directed.
  • Maintain resident/client rooms in a manner that is clean and orderly.
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid Michigan CNA license and/or completion of training course.
  • Experience in geriatrics and with Acute Care, Dementia, and Alzheimer's preferred.
  • Ability to observe changes in a resident/client's condition and to act as required for resident/client's total care.
  • Demonstrate understanding, patience, tact, respect, and courtesy in dealing with residents, family, and visitors.
  • Proficient skills and knowledge of CNA duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English.
