We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Systems Administrator to join our team at EverBank. As a Sr. Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's operating systems, designing information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture.
About the Job- This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a technical IT field, with a preferred qualification of 5+ years.
- You will be responsible for evaluating and implementing changes to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary, reviewing flow charts, models, and procedures and feasibility studies to design possible system solutions, reviewing technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
- You will collaborate with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.
- You will identify and document all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes, educate end users on system designs and functionalities through creation of training materials and conducting demos.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windows server, Linux RHEL server operating systems in a VMWare virtual and physical operating environment, working knowledge in any of the following software applications: Checkpoint Endpoint Encryption, Cofense E-Mail Phising tool, Crowdstrike Falcon host, CyberArk Password management system, Firemon firewall monitoring, Forcepoint e-mail data loss protection, Imperva Database Monitoring, Opentext Encase Examiner, Rapid 7 Nexpose Vulnerability, Observe IT, Symantec Enterprise Protection, Tripwire, Veracode, ZScaler Internet Access (ZIA).
The salary range for this position is $94,800 - $128,200 per year.
